Did you realise that everyday, or at least on a weekly basis, google.com and google.com.my changes their picture on the header? Today it features a  old time children characted, namely Ernie and Bert (As photo below). I managed to google out some of the header photos that google has been using for all the different occassion. Do comment on them.

Blackle.com, Save with Google

Good morning readers.

This is a website that I went through quite sometime ago and I want to introduce it to you people. This website uses the exact same engine as google, but it saves alot of energy. Simple named www.blackle.com.

Blackle was created by Heap Media to remind us all of the need to take small steps in our everyday lives to save energy. Blackle searches are powered by Google Custom Search. Blackle saves energy because it uses a black background that reduces the need of energy. It might be a little hard on the eyes, and may take time getting used to, but eventually it will save alot of energy.

To date, they have saved 1,295,842.347 Watt hours and increasing everyday. I would recommend that everyone uses this website. A little saved here and there, will make a big difference eventually.
